Frequently asked questions
What are the first signs of perimenopause?
Often changes in your period, like cycles getting shorter, longer or irregular, plus hot flashes, night sweats, trouble sleeping, mood changes and brain fog. They can start in your 40s, sometimes earlier.
How long does perimenopause last?
On average about four years, but it can be a few months or more than ten years. Menopause is confirmed after 12 months in a row without a period.
Can Gyne tell me if I'm in menopause?
Gyne can show patterns in your periods and symptoms, but only a doctor can confirm menopause. Your logs and report make that conversation easier.
Does Gyne recommend hormone therapy?
No. Gyne never recommends a treatment. It helps you bring clear information to your doctor, who can talk through options like hormone therapy.
